In 2003 Namco assumed majority ownership of Wolfteam and renamed it Namco Tales Studio. They developed all of the titles in the Tales series until their last release Tales of Xillia for PlayStation 3 in September 2011.
On November 21, 2011, Namco Bandai Games announced the studio would be fully absorbed into its parent company on January 1, 20121.
