Dragon Age: Origins starts with you customising your character and also choosing one of six origin stories. You play through this which sets the game up; each story starts you in a different area with a different background that will affect the remainder of the game. Towards the end of the origin story, you meet Duncan, leader of the Gray Wardens who tells stories of Darkspawn. Thus begins an epic and lengthy tale including good humour, dark fantasy and blood splattering battles.
Like many before it, this RPG has the player constantly making choices which can affect the game in small or large ways, including of course finding someone to have 'relations' with. The game also allows you to pause combat at will and choose individual actions for each party member making a very tactical approach possible (and preferred). Including a rich and epic musical score, many many hours of gameplay and a considerable amount of downloadable content to come, Dragon Age: Origins will keep many gamers playing for quite some time.
