The votes are in and Driving Emotion Type-S... sucks. From Gamers.com's 4/10 to GameSpot's 6.0 to the 7.0 from IGN PS2, Type S has been hailed as "less fun than picking boogers."
A Racing game for PlayStation 2 by Escape and Square
Square's first foray into the PlayStation 2 platform was not an RPG, the genre the developer is best known for. Instead, it was a racing game that wasn't very good.
Driving Emtion Type-S was developed by a little-known Square subsidiary called Escape, a team that previously worked with Dream Factory on Ehrgeiz, Tobal No. 1 and Tobal 2.1

Square's The Bouncer will ship this coming March, while Driving Emotion Type-S will be seeing store shelves on January 30.
