Final Fantasy IV for Nintendo DS is a major overhaul and remake of the original Final Fantasy IV (Final Fantasy II in North America), released in 1991 for Super NES. Although largely faithful to the original, this remake does contain several enhancements, including new minigames and features, voice acting, CG cut-scenes, New Game Plus, and a new translation. A similar treatment had been given to Final Fantasy III beforehand (see Final Fantasy III (DS)).
