Square Enix has announced that the complete sales of its Front Mission series since its debut ten years ago have totalled three million with the release of Front Mission 5. With more than 200,000 copies sold since its December 29th release, this seventeenth installment has successfully secured the longevity of both Front Mission's position in gaming history and Yoichi Wada's pocketbook.
In the 21st century, a futuristic Tower of Babel called the orbital lift stretches up through the stratosphere. The non-canonical sequel to the strategy RPG Front Mission, Gun Hazard features side-scrolling action gameplay with customizable RPG elements, a large cast of characters, an involved storyline, and an soundtrack from several of Square Enix's most celebrated music composers: Nobuo Uematsu, Yasunori Mitsuda, Masashi Hamauzu, and Junya Nakano.
