New details about the Kirby Anthology for Wii: Kirby's Dream Collection will include six games along with a new play mode and will be released in Japan on July 19 with a U.S. release this September. The six games to be included are Kirby's Dream Land (Game Boy, 1992), Kirby's Adventure (NES, 1993), Kirby's Dream Land 2 (Game Boy, 1995), Kirby Super Star (SNES, 1996), Kirby's Dream Land 3 (SNES, 1997), and Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards (Nintendo 64, 2000). In addition, Dream Collection will include ten “challenge stage” mini-games designed to test players’ ability to score the most points in the least amount of time, a “Kirby History” compilation of comics and cartoons, a “memorial fanbook” of character art, and a soundtrack CD.1
Kirby's Dream Land 2 (星のカービィ2, Hoshi no Kābī Tsū, lit. "Kirby of the Stars 2") is a platforming video game developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy handheld video game console.
Kirby's Dream Land 2 continues the adventures of Kirby from Kirby's Dream Land and Kirby's Adventure, adding three animal friends to aid Kirby in battle. It can be played on the Super Game Boy, and gives slight changes to the game, such as adding a custom color scheme, a special game border, and a few new sound effects.
Kirby's Dream Land 2 was slated to be remade for Game Boy Color as Kirby's Dream Land 2 DX, but was cancelled along with Metroid II: Return of Samus DX.
