A High Speed Robot Action game for PlayStation 2 by Konami in the Zone of the Enders series
AD 2172. The military raids a space colony in an attempt to capture 2 orbital frames and forces Leo Stenbuck to watch his friends get horribly crushed under the leg of a damaged robot. Running as fast as he can Leo manages to accidently fall into one of the frames the military is looking for: Jehuty. Guided by an emotionless AI voice and representatives from a civilian transport Leo is forced into a mission to delivery Jehuty to Mars so it can join the battle.
Along the way Leo manages to save his friend Celvice Klein, battle numerous times with Viola Guines (officer of the military) and attempt to figure out why we war amongst ourselves killing innocent people in the process.
Zone of the Enders showcased a smooth control system, trademark designs from mechanical designer Yoji Shinkawa, a deep emotional soundtrack, and of course, High Speed Robot Action.

The device will retail for US$249 or US$299 for the Wi-Fi and 3G models respectively. The device is currently slated for a late 2011 release.
Of course, the most exciting thing about the device is the potential for Zone of the Enders and Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner to be released on the device in HD glory. Read on
