Brandon Dillon

A programmer and game designer for Double Fine Productions and (formerly) QA intern at Blizzard Entertainment and programming intern at ArenaNet

Brandon Dillon

Brandon Dillon scored a programming internship with Blizzard Entertainment's QA department when he was a teenager during the time it was developing StarCraft. Graduating the University of Texas with a major in computer science and mathematics, Dillon joined ArenaNet under a programming internship that resulted him being employed full time. He worked on Guild Wars: Nightfall and Guild Wars: Eye of the North before joining Double Fine Productions as a senior programmer, specializing in engine and tools programming. He has contributed to The Cave and Double Fine Adventure.

In 2012's Amnesia Fortnight Dillon pitched Hack n' Slash, an action-adventure based on his own childhood experiences hacking games through emulators. The pitch highlights a world of puzzle dungeons based on progressively more sophisticated cheating, hacking, and reverse engineering techniques. The pitch became the most voted for concept and therefore was chosen by the public to be made into a prototype.
