Raised in the rural outskirts of Wichita, Kansas, Shawn Lee left the Midwest after discovering that certain members of his Baptist Church frowned upon his appreciation of black music. "Fuck this," Lee is reported to have said, and began his epic voyage toward a music career in Los Angeles.
Shawn Lee's contribution to game music is the spectacular original soundtrack to Rockstar's boarding school sim "Bully." The selected soundtrack album for Bully/Canem Canis Edit was released in stores December 2006 and has deftly delivered a swift kick in the ass to the Anglophone game music scene.
His other amazing albums include Soul Visa (Grand Scheme 2006), Harmonium (Rush! Japan 2005), and Monkeyboy (Wall of Sound 2000).1
