As the creator and designer of the original Pac-Man, Toru Iwatani was the originator and transmitter of the Pac-Man Fever pandemic that swept through most of the developed world during the early nineteen-eighties. He is now retired from the games industry, though not before creating Pac-Man: Championship Edition, an apt update (some say definitive edition) to the series he created almost thirty years earlier.
