Siliconera has discovered a trademark registration and domain name claim by Square Enix for "Chrono Bind". I need to lie down. Square Enix is trolling gamers worldwide by registering a domain name and trademark starting with "Chrono" when in reality it's just a stupid minigame in FFXIII-2. Fuck you Square Enix.
This new Fire Emblem: Awakening trailer shows off some amazing cut-scenery and game play for the upcoming 3DS tactical RPG. Awakening is the first original entry in the Fire Emblem series since 2007. There's no word on a North American release yet, but it'll be out in Japan in April and arrive in Europe before the end of the year!

Double Fine have created a Kickstarter for a new adventure game. The project promises to create a point and click adventure over a 6-8 month period under supervision of Tim Schafer (who previously worked on The Secret of Monkey Island and Grim Fandango) with funding from the public rather than relying on a publishing company for financial support. The project's goal was to hit $400,000, which it hit in a little over eight hours. Sony posted a $2.9 billion loss for October-December 2011 making this the forth year in a row the company has faced significant financial loss1. Kazuo Hirai will be promoted to CEO of Sony Corporation2, moving up from his current role as President of the Consumer Products & Services Group (as well as other executive roles within the company). Hirai will be replacing current CEO Howard Stringer on April 1, 2012 and will be charged with bringing the company back into the black. Read on
