  1. More unnecessary belts, buckles, spiky hair, trench coats, Final Fantasy characters, button mashing and cut scenes you hope no sees you watching when they walk in on you kind of stuff - yup, Kingdom hearts.

Actually I believe there's only the one Final Fantasy character this time - Zack Fair. Well there's Moogles too, but they aren't so much one character rather than a race.

  4. I still love this series, if for no other reason than how important it was to my development as a gamer. However, I so hate most of the other people in the world who like it, that I'm somewhat ashamed now to be a fan.

What makes you hate most of the other fans?

  6. I've not been a fan of the spin-offs, but I do think that Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II were excellent titles. Both are first rate examples juvenile (young adult?) fiction with strong game play, even if slightly simplistic, and plenty of extra challenges to do for kicks.

  7. @Nels I'm not really a fan of the spin offs either. I even regret getting the latest one for the DS, not fun at all IMO. but I agree that the 2 PS2 games were pretty good, hopefully the third will be just as good, although from what I hear they aren't bringing back any of the three original main characters so I don't really know how I feel about it yet.

  8. @Yuna1881 I'm fine with the main trio not coming back. However it is not because I dislike them. It's quite the contrary. I'd like the see their story finished with your typical Disney-styled happy ending. Continuing with them will make the series stale (too late?) without a doubt. When I started playing Kingdom Hearts II and it begins with an entirely new set of characters, I was upset and annoyed. However after the beginning sequence ends and it's back to Sora and crew, I was just as upset because they did such a good job introducing them and developing them. It's clear to me they are quite capable of making new stories with new characters in this universe, so I'd like to see some stories end. Never ending quests are boring because they never end. Build up with no resolution is the pits.
