I was puzzled as to why anyone would appeal to the ESRB to protect their privacy. After a little digging, I found that the ESRB, when it's not stupidly and ironically revealing the identities of privacy-concerned netizens, is concerned with "help[ing] its members comply with the growing complexity of privacy protection laws, while continually striving to help make the Internet a secure, reliable and private place to share information and conduct business."
