Square has announced that following the initial shipment of 1.8 million units of Final Fantasy X-2, which sold 1.2 million copies in a day last week, there will be no more copies made available, even when this batch runs out. Why Square would do something odd like that is questionable, but it possibly has something to do with the upcoming creation of Square Enix.¹
